Starting Solids

Asher had his first experience with solid foods a few weeks ago. We started him on oatmeal and he actually seems to be liking it quite a bit. Riley and I first attempted to spoon feed him the cereal but since my mom has been here visiting she has shown us an easier/cleaner way. Now we just mixing some into his milk and let him drink it from his bottle. Thanks for the tip mom! We did, however, get some cute pictures of his first spoon fed experience. Enjoy :)

Asher's Newest Toy

We've been wanting to get one of these for awhile now but just never went out and did it. Well, a few weeks ago, our good friends Claire and Adam invited us up to Claire's family's house for Easter. While there, we met her adorable nephew who had one of these and after seeing the shear joy that it brought him, Riley went out and bought one for Asher. He hasn't started bouncing in it much but he LOVES to stand up, so right now this is his method of standing. Riley also rigged up some rings to the bouncer which Asher is clearly enjoying :)

Ok, so this is my first attempt at starting a blog. I know, I know, WAY behind the times but better late than never I always say :) Since our lives are SOOO facsinating, I plan to document the general goings-on in the Cutler household for family, friends, and myself to enjoy. Oh, and I also plan to post a lot of pictures documenting the adorableness of my baby Asher so if that bothers anyone, this may not be the site for you. So here's to hoping that I will prove to be better at blogging than keeping a journal!
